First Impressions of my return in France

What is like to live in France?

In a small town near the sea.

It's slower, quieter than big cities like London and Tokyo. Smaller, yes, but you have the feeling of space, you can expand yourself.

And you have the incontournable view and sensation of the sea. The Atlantic....

I do enjoy my return, I knew it was the right choice, now I've got the certitude of it.

And...

It's so funny to things with a new eyes.

I still can't believe than most worker have 2 hours lunch when working, that they work 35 hours a week ( most of them), that most shop are closed between 12 and 2 o'clock.

What else,

I was surprise that fashion didn't change that much in 10 years.

And I smile to notice that the man on a bicycle with his beret (french hat) and french baguette in his hand, are a reality.

Return in Europe: 3rd September

Et oui, après 3 mois de l'autre coté de globe, me voila bientôt de retour.

I will be back in 2 days! First in London.

I've got mix feeling. As I had such a fantastic time here. I'm so lucky I had this experience. I loved every moment of it: Great place to be at least one in a life time.

A dream city and country. I still sometimes can't believe I'm here. That I done it. It feel great. It's no way I'm go back to my boring life: never again. I want to enjoy every minute of my life: even if it's mean taking risk, not thinking to much about the future: I want to approach life in a new angle.

And it's why I'm so happy to come back: I feel full of positive energy, I've got plenty of project. I will be in London from 3rd of September for 2 weeks, a then I will go to France.

I hope I will be able to see you all: in Tokyo, I could talk that much: then be prepared: hear me talking for hours and hours. Be able to talk to anybody and knowing you will be understood.

I say that but I met some nice people over there.

Voyage, voyage

L'autre soir a une session de yoga, au moment ou tout le corps se repose, la vision de relaxation qui m'est venue était celle du trajet de Londres vers Tokyo.

Nous passions a un moment entre stockholm and Helsinki. Et c'était un paysage de lacs et de forêtde conifères. D'une beauté a prendre votre breath away.

J'aurai voulu que l'avion se pose.

Cela m'a rappeler mon retour en avion de La Rochelle, l'année dernière. La vue était spectaculaire: et je reconnaissais les endroits: La Rochelle, avec son port, le pont de l'île de Re, nous avons remonte les sables d'Olonne, j'ai reconnu Noirmoutier, et puis la Loire, nous avons survoler Nantes, La Baule... Des endroits que je connais bien.Enfin nous avons traversee l'Atlantique et les îles britanniques ont apparues de toutes leur splendeur. ( Guernesey , Jersey, Île of Whyte).

A ces souvenirs, un souhait m'est venu: c'est que je puisse pour mes 100ans, ( avec l'espérance de vie s'allongeant, il y a bien des chances pour que je sois toujours vivante) pouvoir voyager dans une navette spatiale et voir la terre de loin: la planète bleu, comme on la voit dans des photos ou des films.

Pour les sceptiques qui lisent cela pensant que mon voyage a Tokyo m'a totalement montée a la tête: il y a déjà des entreprises et ingénieurs travaillant a la construction de Spaceliners: spaceship pour des voyages ( voir Virgin Galactic - Richard Brandson)

Et puis nous savons tous que l'impossible est possible: pensez aux personnes des siècles derniers, du moyen-âge, de l'antiquité qui rêvaient d'aller sur la lune.

Et si nous regardons seulement les progrès technologiques de ces 20 ans dernières années: mon souhait qui semble a premier vue surréaliste: est tout compte fait bien ancrée dans le monde du possible.

Mais pour l'instant je me prépare juste pour mon séjour de 2 jours a Kyoto.

Project for next week in Japan

Tomorrow, I'm starting my travel around Japan, by Kyoto: Train is at Tokyo Station, and 6.56am.
I'm very exited to discover an other city, go on the "bullet" train.

As I didn't organise anything, it will be a little adventure, specially as I can't speak any japanese. I was hoping in few weeks to be able to catch up the basic: flat chance: I couldn't. And as I doubt that Kyotoist spoke more english that the Tokyoist.

But today I did some research and here how the trip is organise:
Monday morning: Tokyo station at 7am
Arriving Kyoto around 10am
Use the lonely planet guide for a walking tour of Southern Higashiyama- the south-east of Kyoto with a lot temples, old houses and garden ( duration half-day)
Then stroll down the station to catch the train for Osaka (half-hour trip)
Find Asahi Plaza Shinsaibashi Capsule Hotel, and speak japanese to book a capsule.
Depending on the time and how I feel : have a glance of Osaka.
Tuesday Morning: back to Kyoto and visit Nijo Castle and Nijo Jinya, and walk around the city
Then return to Tokyo, and prepare myself for the next day trip: 4 days in North of Japan

For this 4 days, I've got nothing plan: I will probably go to Towada ka lake, but I cant find any accomodation in this area. The only thing I want for this trip is be outside cities and town, I need countryside, mountain or seaside. I love Tokyo, but I would like to discover a more quieter Japan: and I'm sure there is places where you feel like your the only human being on earth.

Otherwise, each week I discover an other side of Tokyo, which make you feel like you are in a science-fiction movie. You're amaze and you can't believe your eyes.
